I dont think it is complex at all. Why do you think europeans have fair skin? Is it to bear the harsh UV of the equatorial regions? NO. Our physiological makeup shows that we are designed to live in the sunny and warm/hot spots of the world such as Africa. This is from a physical perspective.

But, in order to call a place home, there also must be a connection beyond the physical. As they say, "Home is where your heart is." Culturally, there must be some kind of connection. I do know that Africa is the cradle of civilization where all life come forward. But, can any 'white' people describe any African culture in which they have created, been a part of, or propigated? We as black people can remember those times. These things are stored in our genetic memory banks. Who feels it knows it. I think it is quite ludicrous to break things down to a mitochondrial level in order to lay claim on something which bear no remnants of you. All else is imitation...vanity.
