Re: Idi Amin Isnt God Himself!!!

Come on now Prophet Chris, you clearly stated in your earlier post that Selassie I "with his own two hands" made Idi Amin the chairman of the OAU. I showed you the documents that show that this was not the case. If you don't believe "babylon internet" (which you are using), then call, write or fax the African Union directly and ask them. Now you're talking about how Uganda was a member country of the OAU. Well who said it wasn't? I don't recall anyone on this thread claiming that Uganda was not a member of the OAU, so what is your point?
If I overs what you're saying, you're saying when Idi Amin accepted the role of Chairman of the OAU, he accepted the responsibility to abide by the principles of the OAU, and these principles were established by His Majesty, so therefore Idi Amin was indirectly following His Majesty's orders? But Prophet Chris, every time somebody vows to do something or uphold a principle, do they always do it? Don't ESPECIALLY politicians and heads of state very often say one thing and do another? By your logic, EVERY chairman of the OAU must have been acting in the interests of Africans. Well Mobutu was chairman at one point, can we not agree that this man was a crook, a vagabond, a brazen thief and robber who sucked his country dry like a vampire, a stooge for the CIA? Certainly he was not acting in Africa's interest, so to say that Idi Amin was chairman of the OAU therefore he must have been acting in Africa's interests, does not hold any water to me.
Also, no disrespect to Prince Emmanuel, but to say he is the elder of all the rastafari elders is not true as far as I know, there were others before him. I don't know why you have to elevate the EABIC above all other Rasta groupings, and above independent Rasses, why can't people unite around what we have in common, respect each other's differences, and acknowledge that no one is higher or lower than the other. Talking about y'all having the only correct, true way sounds like some of these church people to me.
Respect brudda... but you got to come better than that post to convince I of your point of view.
