Re: ***Why do you call my people "Semetic"?***

GLORY BE TO THE POWER OF THE HOLA TRINITY, EMPEROR HAILE SELLASSIE 1/EMPRESS MANEN.

KELANI;

The whole idea for contributing in african issues is not to present a complet package of solutions for a quick fix, but to give a little drop for expansion, adjusment and if worthy, to be included for addressing the objective of unity.
I didnt claim to have a complete answer; this is impossible. And when you suggest that the term "healing" is too simplistic to be considered, think it over and overstand that healing is a whole long process.

you stated that the ones who have been banned created their own misery. I pray that my intent is not missed since in many cases I too had fights with a few and even some who were not banned; but in the spirit of reconciliation(for the tribal warriors) it is not our business to condemn in such irreversible discipline since we all find our selves condemnable at one time or another. As concious individuals, we should always know that the power to judge is not the same as the power to condemn(or even redeem for that matter).

Condemnation or redemption is all to the individuals and his relationship with the God within and without. So while we can exercise a certain amount of judgement on a one, we must be careful not to take on the role that has nothing to do with us. Hence, I am never able to understand how moderators can condemn posters for attitudes that so quickly become theirs.

No sooner than the banned ones disappeared, posters came up with articles that are clearly attacks against a certain set of Africans who look towards a particular side of Africa with such pride that for more than one occassion I revisited the days when the days when RasTafari ones were killed, jailed and shunned just because we chose to focus on Africa and not america/europe.

A stench of hate covered this site and for ones like RasIfree, I knew that he did have to struggle through the bushes to bring some moderators to their african senses while avoiding the silence of "banned".
Ivory tower
Arrogance
black skin white mask
house niggers
slavedrivers
psuedo intellectual
book spirituality
western agents and so much more became our experience for those of us who cherish the spiritual freedom that RasTafari has provided for so many of us on this slave plantation.

The way to healing will never come from the individuals who hold a bias against others for whatever reasons. Impartiality is surely lacking here. And we need this for healing
Reading a wider selection of books is also needed for healing.
developing the skill to listen to non academia is needed for healing.
Walking in the ghettos and villages occassionally is needed for healing.
Creating a voice for the voiceless is needed among the leadership for healing.
Allowing everyman a right to his choice of worship is needed for healing.
Seeing Jah Almighty in every living being is needed for healing/not only for the well researched.
Respect, in other words, should not be restricted to a selected few...there will be rancour among the masses; created by the leaders.
You might be surprised to know that out of design and accident some Rasses in the seventies had to choose to educate themselves--experiences and research- in order to be able to reach to ourself and the people. It also served as a way of maintaining a genuine relationship (of trust most of all) with the dispossessed since many peolpe who were able to be part of the intelligensia in society, desserted where they came from.
RasTafari remains the comforter among africans who are continuously deceived and condemned by the status quo.
When we smell the spirit of babylonian status quo on this board, heard it or not Bantu, RasTafari roared....still roaring
