As far as know RASTAFARI respects individuality however not as the expense of the collective.Itis against this backgroud that I will respond to your article on " Jah as cosmic force".

For I SPIRITUALITY to be effective must be embedded in the historical experience and relity of the people, as such we canot afford to have cosmic god . We need an anthropological god , A BLACK AFRICAN GOD . a God who is anti colonial , revolutionary ,who works for unity of our people ,who works for our upliftment.

Our spirituality, as a black race , needs to take our current experience into account that we our continent is rich yet its wealth is controlled by Uropeans, THAT OUR PEOPLE find themselves victims of oppression, suppression ,repression , exploitation and discrimination where ever they are in the world . Book shelf spituality is not going to help us at all.I acknowledge the significance of studying our past ( SANKOFA) as withot that we canot overstand properly the present and the future.

Sister , the elders CHOSE ,i repeat CHOSE HIM .He is the true embodiment of our experience , OUR PRESENT and our future!

Removing Haile Sellasie as as anchor our movement is removing the revolutionary focus of our movement. Muta says Haile can not elaborated religiously but politically and economically.
