Re: Iyabinghi Ashanti Zebulun
In Response To: Re: Iyabinghi Ashanti Zebulun ()

the money comes from a source that is vitualy unlimited...its ideaology on paper from trees...why can't evry country in the world agree to give themself 50 billion dollars...and this bonus money be given to evrybody...rich or poor...so the rich would be, say 100,000 dollars richer...and the poor have 100,000...so atleast poor doesn't mean u are suffereing and dying...poor just means u don' get to eat out evry night at a fancy restaurant...u simi..."

Wish it was so easy diyouth but then yuh would have more money than products because on the other side of the coin is the exact opposite, so dat couldn't solve the problem. Not an immature thinking at all but in the spirit of equality and idealistically, a so it shoulda go.

I like barter and trade as the solution to poverty. Because yuh use this system just for what you need. I practice this everyday. Ishence fi roots, books, clothes, etc. The least I have to spend dem money, is de better I am able to extricate Iself from dem matrix, seen.

My whole t'ing in discussions of this issue, is yuh will sight ones and ones not really looking a the big picture but quick fi criticize the ghetto yute, who is quick to pick up de gun. But a who quick fi mek sure de gun reach de ghetto, wi should be looking to fi accountability. But de ghetto yute dem already at a disadvantage because society dun bran' dem criminal just because of them location, seen. So how de yute dem a go rise above dat dey stereotype? An' again, mek I clear it by saying dat a one an' one haffe tek responsibility fi dem action. So de yute who shoot him brethren dung ova some petty shyt, fi know sey him a go face a judgemant fi dat, regardless of de fact sey I'n'I know sey a no him manufacture de killing machine or de killing fields.

It mus' tek a concerted effort on the part of all of I'n'I who live in the ghetto an' neva had de need fi pick up de gun, fi show de yute sey, dere is a different path dem cyan tek. An' de elders haffe lead by example. So yuh haffe go come squeaky clean or else yuh naw go get no result. See dat is de problem wid some who will get up an' speak out against violence and guns. A dem same one a justify it otherwise but expect de ghetto yute fi listen to an' put dung dem gun.

When de moral example is set by dem wid de loudest mouth an' de most criticism den de ghetto yutes dem wi listen, seen. I see no other way right now.

An' fi those who neva feel no hungry belly, dem fi shut up an' put up and low dem who know fi deal wid de yute dem pon a one an' one basis. In I'n'I everyday living, I try to do dis, seen an' if I can get one yute fi listen and fi actually put dung de gun den I would have managed to save de whole worl' according to ancient scriptures. So I keep pushing on, brethren and keep doing. Right yah fi de past two years, I'n'I have been mentoring a yute from yaad dat him fadda bring com yah an' jus' lef' him to de mercy a de system. I'n'I encourage him fi get some kind of education, fi stay offa de streets an outta de way of conflict. Stay wey from de gun hawks an' dem reason fi kill or be killed. I glad to sey him a hol' firm. I don't see him as often as I wish. But I call ever so often to check in on him an' mek sure everyt'ing is everyt'ing. I do de same fi two likkle young princess dat is de same age as I daughter. I even mek I daughter reason wid dem more time so dem cyan identify wid someone of dem own age who a carry a positive vibes within dis shitsem. It helps tremendously, seen. When I spare the time an' energy fi do dis, I find I faith in humanity is restored over and over again, seen. As I sey before, it is we duty an' we cyaan cop out pon it, seen, as everyone else a try do.

When one a wi dead, de whole a wi feel it an' when wi lose a young soljah, a weak de whole army get weak inna dis yah judgemant. So wi haffe mek sure sey all a dem survive, seen. No matter what, no matter what. Bless up yuhself diyouth. Always a pleasure reasoning wid de I. Rastafari in One Love.
