Re: Question: Guns and Violence

First and foremost: Compassion and Forgiveness and the knowledge that JAH will sort them out must be taught.
In terms of education that might actually be enacted:
Alternative schools, mentoring programs, and religious teaching need to be strengthened. These are forums where the shitstem's lies and propaganda can be discarded and the Truth can be told. Youth, including I, must be taught repeatedly by elders that violence is not the answer. "Turn the other cheek." We must be taught that just because a man bump us wrong does not mean he is testing our manhood.

Gun education: people need to be taught that guns are for real, that they're not retractable tools. You can't yank a bullet back in mid-flight. If you shoot a man, he is dead. No matter what mindset you're in later, he's still dead. Shooting someone is an irreverible action. And that point needs to be drilled into the head of everyone who ever handles a gun. And keeping your gun out of the hands of kids or other rash people who might make a drastic mistake.

That sort of education.
Raspect to ya,
Joshua
