Ras Marcus, I have to agree with you because I have not read anywhere where he claimed he was repatriating. And further more, I do not see how repatriation can be possible without some kind of recognition from all sides that injustices were done and that people who wish to return should be allowed to do so and with the proceeds from reparations. Without this being properly addressed then there would be too much conflicting attitude problems.

It seems like he went to the motherland to open a business while clearly out of touch with the mentality of a lot of people there and how they could possibly be viewing him. There are so many possibilities for abuses on all sides without the issues surrounding slavery, racism, gender discrimination, colorism, repatriation and reparation being addressed and recognized by politicians. They could be viewing him one way and he could be viewing people there through the lens of western inferiority and superiority complexes.

Journeying to Africa to set up a business should be well thought out but that is different from repatriation.
