Re: Make dat money off dem Afrikins...All good

am sure evryone on this board has a cell phone...has internet service etc. Are people "making money" off of ones in the west utilizing telecommunication tools? Why would the dynamic be any different any other place in the world.

M-PESA has revolutionized money yes money transfers in Kenya, and hopefully similar means of transferring money.

Beliver it of not people have bank accounts, drive cars, pay mortgages etc - in Africa.

If YOU need to talk on the phone...what do YOU use?

Do people in africa deserve the same technology tools as people in the west?

Can you answer that question please?

Many dont have the luxury of Time Warner/ATT/etc internet accounts - so phones serve as a crucial connection to information. MOST people in Africa access the internet etc via mobile phones & dont have landlines in their homes. There are many many people in rural areas that complete distance learning courses via the phones
