Contrary to what you read on the internet...we in Africa...laugh, enjoy the weather, smile, party, work etc. Life is not doom and gloom 24/7. No doubt many people suffering - but i can still smell the roses...kiss my kids, and enjoy a moment of exhiliration in my personal experience.

AGain, contrary to your internet research - there are many things to celebrate that are going on in Africa. And By the Dashiki's are west african - I havent been that side yet.
But My Kitenges/Kanga/Wax Print fabrics were spun in Mombasa Kenya & by Noeele in Tanzania (Dar es Salaam) they were sewn by a seamstress into garments in Westlands Nairobi by a sisters whose name I forgot - but its near the roundabout off Waiyaki way...call me an Ill give u directions...and believe it or not I have many to sell (oops...i said sell) ... and I accept Paypal if u need one..S M and XL - 17.99 each.

I just got my landline installed. $N300 per month - after 10 mos finally able to afford it. Cable TV is non-existent...so people who can afford use satellite dishes. I may be able to get that end year...will tell you what channels we get once Im up and running...Ive never had a blackberry...I can only afford a China knock off right now. But Ill keep you updated Nephew, when I make it to the villages - I havent been to any yet in Namibia, my work motly keeps me in Whk.
