Please don't confuse response with intervention. An intervention occurs when an outside force positions itself between opposing participants.
You seem to be defending President Yoweri Museveni; Is the threshold for dictatorship closer to forty than twenty-five? All unbiased reports out of Uganda suggests that Museveni has many more problems with the larger population of Uganda; from the supporters of the late Prince John Barigye who want their kingdom back to the FDC, who want REAL Democracy. Sounds more like a Pow-Wow job for the A.U. than a U.S. military intervention.

Has the U.S. tried witholding their biased support for Museveni? Ain't gonna happen, he's promised them the best treats once the pinata is broken.
