Rastafari Speaks

Re: Epitome of negro slave mentality

Im sick of her critiques. She worships books and doesn't have a clue about reality.

Whatever her premise, you cannot just simply apply it to rasi, ESPECIALLY in light of his activities. That is plain ignorant. Check his blog.

I think it is completely out of line for someone to tell another where they belong or not. What makes him an outsider? Is he from a tribe who voluntarily separated from Afrika with a sense of moral and divine chosenistic supremacy?

No. The man's ancestors were put in chains and extracted across the ocean. Regardless of what ignoramuses think, he IS Afrikan and will ALWAYS be Afrikan.

That's like me telling you that you do not belong on a black liberation forum because you are white. Have I ever said that to you??? No, because you seemed to realize that there really is no distinction between white or black liberation. Liberation is a holistic truth, not polarized or geographical or cultural.

Hyksos and others were not forcefully removed from their land of indigeny like the Afrikans across the Diaspora. It is not even relevant to try to compare the Hyksos and people like Rasi.

Regardless of what my comments were to rasi a few years ago, it was in response to his elitist attitude about his transition. However, since that time, I believe he is sincerely involved in ACTIONS.

Is there any evidence that the people who work with rasi are chanting "yankee go home"? I tell you what. I am one second from jumping a ship and asking the people of Namibia or Ghana to allow me to come home and please accept me as their long lost brother. I personally feel that I am too corrupted by hierarchy and other Western notions but who said that we will ever be a perfected finished product? All we can do is try. And from what I see, rasi is trying/doing what he has been called to do.

The American/European poisoning is already there. Its not like rasi is there in a missionary calling himself saving the masses or trying to get people signed up for internet and cable...or trying to start of business making money off the folks.

THE PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING and rasi has committed his family and resources to their service. I ask you or kween to trump that full-fledged lifestyle change.

Bottom line.
