Godzilla attacks, again *LINK*

Japan could face unfathomable destructive in the wake of not their natural tragedy but the man-made tragedy...the THIRD man-made nuclear tragedy.

""""""With the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki still fresh in the Japanese consciousness, Godzilla was conceived as a monster created by nuclear detonations and a metaphor for nuclear weapons in general."""""""

The original "Gojira" was an allegory for the destructiveness of nuclear weapons. Since electricity is something that the controllers have made essential for our day to day lives, it too could be seen as a weapon.

Linked is a clip of the original trailer from the 1954 release. Very relative today.
