Remembering Ras Iyapert (Rupert_
Ras Iyapert came into the movement when he was 14 years of age
He was inspired by the Universe to choose the Liberation Stage
He came into Abaca (Back Wall) where the Ancients used to teach
Every African person, who really came into their reach.
He was ready to investigate, the miserable conditions of the world
In his investigations he was quite precise and bold.
He listened to the Iyagels and asked those questions when he could
In deed he asked those questions which he thought he really should.
While all of this was taking place his Dreadlocks started to grow
And also self determination internally started to flow
Now Africa for Africans was the teaching in those days.
Ras Iyapert was quite satisfied with that order come what may.
He spent the rest of his life cultivating spiritual knowledge
And he later became one of those great walking College
He became a great student of the black University
Of the great black trials, tribulations and adversities
He became an advocate for truth and right
An advocate for African people day and night.
He was well known among the Ancients
For his humble standing and his patients
He has climbed into the mountains and he has walked on the plains
All of this he did for African Liberation gains
There is no one in the movement who can say this is not so,
For he grew up among the elders and they should really know.
This is just a humble Tribute to a Black Heartman indeed
Who have spend most of his life just planting Liberation seeds.
His very good deeds are well known almost everywhere
So, those of you who know of him do not hesitate to share.
Baba Ras Marcus June 30th 2010. After Sunset.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE
Baba Ras Marcus.
