Was really heartened by this news, and glad to see it was fairly widely reported too, amidst all the negative reporting about Haiti.

I don't know a great deal about the senegalese President ? But I hear he sees himself as a defender of the poor ? Really great to see such an action. Would be wodnerful to see more african leaders thinking so.
