Re: Full Moon?
In Response To: Full Moon? *NM* ()

It LOOKED like a full moon when I first posted this. I just thought it was interesting to know how well idrens in different parts of the world from where I live (Botswana) could see it since there is ONE MOON, ONE SUN, ONE WORLD.

Where I live the full moon appears at sunset and traverses the night sky just like the sun does. I believe it's the same wherever you are. If you live in a village like I do where there is much less electic lights, the night sky is very visible and the moonlight washes over everything. Youths seem to like going outside when the moon is full, even small children playing in the street.

A Zimbawean friend of mine told me the other day that it never rains when the moon is full! That might be true because we have only been having very light drizzles this week.
