Since the intent of things is many times unknown when a link is posted with a simple explanation, let me explain my point in posting it.
There has been discussion on this board, mainly from the input of Karibkween, about the differences between subduing nature and working with nature and how this in a sense is at the core of the system that we live in now.
Within the interview there was talk of experience through observing and listening within a natural environment and letting this wisdom guide one's endeavors rather than trying to dominate and control. I thought that was interesting and thought I would share as an illustration of what I view as one of the very valuable ideas that have been reasoned about on this board.
I previously posted a link to a movie regarding Cuba's path to self-reliance after the Soviet Union collapsed and oil ran out. Many of the practices that allowed them this self-sufficiency in food was made possible by applying similar methods.
