*******I think we should try to keep a balance between knowledge and faith...mind and heart/spirit...energy and matter*******
hotep to that statement as well, except...
**keep a balance between knoeledge and faith**
selassielive with all due respect, why oh why oh why do we insist on maintaining this faith card? Faith is the absence of information/knowledge. That is a synonym for "ignorance". So are you actually going to say in other words [["keep a balance between knowledge and ignorance"]]???
I would not think so. Again, would you not admit that faith is something engrained by baaby in order to be able to control us without the Truth to back it up?
I agree, that is where we split our Y and see differently. But let us search deeply and truthfully into ourselves. Faith is a comfort level that is the same as complacency. Do you not experience students who simply do not want to challenge themselves?
Faith is an admitted shortcoming of the acceptance of the whole truth. Now sight it, I am not condemning faith per se, I am simply identifying it for what it truly is...it is absence/lack of complete overstanding of Truth.
Let us acknowledge that AND maintain faith...but not deny it.
Let us have faith but overstand that the ignorance can be minimized by the acquisition of truth.
As far as perfection...
let us strive for perfection and settle for excellence.
thankhs for the reasoning and sights.
