I noticed that kind of behaviour when watching coverage on CNN. I'm actually conflicted on my feelings about what happened with this hurricane. I believe America needed to have something happen to them so that they could understand what suffering is, and so have an inkling of what people in the 'third world' experience, but it still hurts to see my people suffering.
