Greetings
Give thanks for the post. Rastafari use the bible, the Kebra Negast, Fetha Negast, Holy Piby, Royal Parchment scrolls of black supremacy, Ityopiyan book of life (Bandlet of Righteous...which contains 'magic' scrolls and yants), The Pert em Heru (Book of Coming forth into day), The Mdr Ntr, Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey, Autobiography of Haile Selassie, as well as scholarly works by van Sertima, Diop, Yochanan, John Jackson, Suzar, Welsing, Rodney, as well as others that I have failed to mention.
Not ALL Rastafari hail up these books and scholars. Nevertheless, one cannot say another one is not a Rastafari because they do hail them up.
Rastafari definitely seems to be going the way of western christianity with all the dogmatic thinking. Who Jah bless, no one curse. As one Idren said, it is what's in the heart that is important. The same goes for white people. But it should be overstood why we are leery of them and their intentions. History has proven and shown that.
