I did not expect a logical answer; so anyhow, I will share some of my views.

I keep saying that many don't (((KNOW))) the history. It is easy for anyone to cut and paste the views of selected elders or to take Bob Marley's songs, and Haile Selassie's speeches out of context. Also, when people casually accept that these historical personalities were perfect, then they do not see that there may be room for us to improve upon what they started. That is progress; building on the best of the past.

Again many want to be embraced simply because they grow dreadlocks and say they praise Selassie, but often this is done without testing their views on the real objectives of the movement. So it is not hard to understand why many people end up 'sleeping with the enemy' metaphorically and physically, then later on realizing that they have made some grave errors.

Reasoning is to help thrash out these things up front.

Many Black Businesses and movements ALSO fail because they take people who do not share the objectives of the Black group into their confidence. Some deluded ones can easily end up being very influential, and in positions where they can negatively affect the lives of many and damage the movement. Depending on the charities of deluded ones leaves many vulnerable. Sometimes people feel powerless to let them know when they are suggesting moves that are counterproductive, and often these deluded ones are stubborn after expecting much in return for their input.

When I was a young tradesman I was warned that I should always measure twice and cut once. I quickly discovered that it meant taking time to discern before rushing to act on anything.

I am not saying that Whites cannot be involved in any Black Movement. There are also many Blacks with some strange distorted views about themselves as a result of the legacy of Eurocentric Miseducation, and often they too promote some backward views. So historical evaluations, discerning and reasoning have to be ongoing in any movement if it is to keep true to its original mission. Progress cannot be measured simply by the quantity of members in a movement, but instead through the strength of character of its members to completing the main objective.
