Ises!
I do not apologise for the colour of my skin as I did not choose to be born white, yellow, black, or brown. Maybe there are actually some white folks out there who actually see that Rastafari is the way forward and as their culture does not offer a sane alternative they are turning to Rastafari. Maybe Blackness, you should start an exclusive Rastafarian sect call 'The Black Brotherhood'. It would then exclude all white folks, good or bad, and be totally purist! Haven't we all heard of this somewhere before?
When I posed the question: What is the role of Jesus in Rastafari? one brilliant Rasta explained that Jesus was the original Rastaman. Maybe moving forward, for forward is the only way we can physically move, we can contemplate our navels until the sun burns out, it won't move things along, if the whole world could unite behind a Black Movement - Rastafari - then wouldn't that be the greatest acclamation that the African peoples could make, that they were the first to unite a planet. The roots are there, the folks are there, it just needs a little momentum.
No offense, but the Western civilisation is burning itself out - that is a fact - people are still going to war - that is a fact - but sometime, some place, under Rastafari there may be the Zion we all seek - and surely the fact that we are all posting under Rastafari means we are doing our bit to follow the path to Zion.
It is the shape of a man's heart that counts, not the colour of his skin!
Peace and love for all time to all people!
