Re: obeah
In Response To: Re: obeah ()

We, Black people are the only people who were forbidden to practice our original way of life (heritage, history, culture, language and faith) it was against the law!! We are victims of the political process, educational system, justice system and religion. Not to mention that we are victims of the worst form of slavery man has ever known. After 300 years of chattel slavery no one has given us the necessary tools to RESTORE US to the people we are suppose to be. In that respect, my energy is much focused upon the destruction of all lies and propaganda (the Europeans are so great at creating), which serves us and makes certain our ancestors are satisfied! I am not just a defender of Black people because I am Black, I am a defender of Black people because we have been SO wronged and I know who wronged us and how it has affected the wrongdoers and us in opposite ways.

I do not intent to insult anyone. I simply use this great community to challenge with rational and reasonable arguments my researches, knowledge and information. My self-interest really lies bringing myself closer to the Truth. I think frankly that we have more profitable knowledge of TRUTH when we intellectually challenge our beliefs and opinions than when we focus on small-mindedness and escapist principles. Of course, that's my own humble opinion.

Bantu Kelani.
