That was a very insightful analysis BK. Give thanks.

I would say that if one is looking at the ARCHTYPES within the Judeo-Christian religion, one will recognize similarities with the original root of these(even with the limited resources available) even though the bible has been mistranslated, re-written, twisted, etc. I feel one has to look OUTSIDE the bible though before one can see this pattern of similarities start to become apparent. Once you see these patterns, you will not look at the bible the same way again and I have found the bible to be more useful after this juxtaposition.

But NOTHING is a replacement for the inner journey to Rasta . .. it is experienced, and I think those Rasta living in the bush of Jamaica who are in tune with nature see things within the text of the bible which correlates with their inner overstanding of Rasta. The inner man looking at the bible is very different from the outer man trying to find the inner man THROUGH the bible.
