Re: Question
In Response To: Re: Question ()

Well just as you say that author of the article was not there and could not know Selassie's intentions, neither were you...
--------
no. but i do not present my opinion as FACTS. that is the differnece.
------------

do YOU then have some divine knowledge of what his intentions were?
----------------
yes i do feel this way.

I find your attempt at critique very poor indeed.
--------------
well i find your attitude and pseudo intellectual reasonings very poor indeed also.
--------

Not once in your ‘analysis’ of the article in question have you brought forward alternative, scholarly, factual information to refute what has been stated in the article.
-------------
please, i am not here to 'debate' you or your articles. i have sttaed my peace regarding that nonsense.
-----
Most of your argument has been, “the author is going on hearsay”, “the author was not there” etc.
--------
again, i am in the middle of work-i say my peace as time allows. anyone that looks through that so called article can see the bias.
------------
That is not critique and it is certainly not scholarly. Research; find facts that directly pertain to the article and come again.
---------
ok. so you are the super scholarly
sista. what is your field of study?
---------
If you say the article has erroneous information, bring the information that proves this.
-----
i already did this you chose to not read it.
----------

I do not know why many here seem to have something against academia and presenting their arguments properly… (sigh)
--------

academic according to WHO? YOU? please you folks are so full of yourself it is almost sickening.
----------
Listen… this thread started with Rasifree questioning why this article should be contained upon a site that is Rastafari (within his view of what rastafari is and should be).
-------------
NO! There YOU go twisting my words yo suit your assumption: this is what I asked/stated:
i have found on this site much propoganda in regards to HIM.

it would seem appropriate, that ones at least balance these articles with differnt perspectives.

why the bias in regards to HIM
----------------

Kelani responded that we do not deal with blind faith here and that the article shed direct light on a view of the behavior of Ethiopian rulers toward indigenous Ethiopian people.
------------
kelani responded with her OPINION, yet she lacks the common respect to acknowledge that others have differnt opinions.

That to me was enough justification (not that we need justification for what goes up on OUR site).
----------
oh, I forgot, this is YOUR site.
I thought it was rasta/Ras Tafari/africa speaks site.

now i overstand.
