Re: Words of the Wise (the Inconsistency here)

Greetings again sister. Much Raspect to the I too. Thanks for your answer.

(I also used capital letters only to avoid confusion between some of my lines and the ones I quoted. Mainly at the beginning of my lines. No intension of emphasis or stress here sister)

While I agree with most of your analysis of the text, in the following part

"it is utterly inconsistent with any ordinary claim that Jesus is a "fully enlightened person." "

I disagree with the conclusion of the interviewer.

The interviewer says that "Given that affirmation (DALAI LAMA SAYING THAT JESUS IS A FULLY ENLIGHTENED PERSON), I said to him that if Jesus is fully enlightened then He must have taught the truth about His identity as Son of God, and as Lord and Saviour. "Otherwise, He wouldn't be that enlightened, would He?"

WOULD HE?

The answer (forced by the interviewer) "no He wouldn't" is the only support I see for the conclusion of the interviewer that Dalai Lama's reply "...is utterly inconsistent with any ordinary claim that Jesus is a "fully enlightened person." "

But really, would He? Jah knows...

Much Love sister.

go-Yo
