Re: CAN A STUDENT SURPASS THE TEACHER?

I think that a true teacher is most rare. Though I have been taught much by many of our glorious ancestors, there is no replacement for a flesh-and blood teacher with whom one develops a relationship. Many of us including me for long time resist the idea of a teacher, or a Master in the spiritual sense. But once such a one enters our lives we see that Divine Order dictates that there are some teachers whom their students will never surpass, and that is a true teacher. For myself, I see that it was only possible for me to progress so far without someone to show me the rest of the way.
