Most Africans are suffering from a mental amnesia, a kind of forgetfulness brought about by conditions of colonization and instability I guess…Discrimination on account of color is abound and exerted in full influence agaisnt dark skinned people!
My statements are maybe generalized but they bear statistical proofs...The present days so called Sudanese Arabs are nothing but light skinned blacks with Afros. They are not different from the light skinned Blacks in Somali, Ethiopia, Rwanda etc.. The only difference is that these so called 'Arabs' lost their language, culture and sense of pride while the other African groups are proud to be Africans with great sense of connection to Africa. Instead of these Arabs wannabees trying to reclaim their past glorious African civilization, they are kissing behind their invaders (Arabs). They just licked the Arab and/or European feet in order to get power. Due to their relatively privileged status, they have been the ones that benefit from the schooling system and tend to travel, therefore, meet other Africans. The Negroid, dark skinned people they oppress live in utter misery and in obscurity.
The color boundary is abound to a large extent in Africa, that’s obvious! Because it is light skinned black on dark skinned black racism it is brushed under the carpet and not spoken about in order to make the argument against colonialism and oppression from the great White evil hold water. Newsflash– light skin blacks are just as racist as whites, you just don't want to admit it.
I won’t claim to actually know the circumstances in Namibia, but in general light skin blacks are preferred to dark skin blacks. Out of ignorance that it will also be affected or out of jealousy, in DRC Congo I was born and raised, some are so proud of their light skin heritage so they like to keep it that way by encouraging their children to go with or marry other light skin people. The same issues plague African Amerikkkans to the Caribbean Blacks whose bias for light skin is shown in TV, and magazines. It is dreadful, sad and it is the TRUTH.
