Re: Who feels it, knows it
In Response To: Re: Who feels it, knows it ()

"Look at Clarence Thomas.
Look at Colin Powell.
Since so much emphasis is based on flesh tone, I pray that Rastafari Speaks have no light toned black people in a high position. Let alone any Europeans." Tikur

Here is another blatant attempt at distortion of the points being made about Black leadership.

What was always emphasized was 'informed Blacks' as suitable leaders for Black liberation movements. I hardly think Powell or Thomas qualify. But that is just a way of blurring an issue that obviously causes emotional reactions instead of true response.

Of course you know very well there are whites who help, having rooted around and found a picture of my daughter and tried your big 'AHA"!

But I would hardly say that working to help trinicenter.com puts me in a position of black leadership. Anyway, I created my website with other whites in mind. And frankly, the blacks here are helping me way more than I help them.

As Ayinde said, spiritual fruits that follow from helping are available to all.

What has been said from the first day of this folly up to now is the same-conscious whites and light-skinned should want to help, and no one who legitimately wants to help is excluded.

So you seem to be around again insinuating some inconsistency in the viewpoint expressed about Black leadership. Point it out if you see one.
Why come sideways like this?

If we are going to reason, let's reason.
