The colorblind concept i.e that black and white don't exist can be termed a racist notion especially when one who is not experiencing the harsh day to day realities experienced by African people (esp dark skinned Africans) make such a statement. This doctine of 'we are all one people' when based upon illusions of one love can be very dangerous because it glosses over and ignores certain fundamental realities. Without doing the necessary ruthless and critical self examination, Whites can only be patronising towards anything AFrikan, which includes Rastafari.
