Re: Nightshades
In Response To: Nightshades ()

Greetings I

"Nazarite" is hebrew and means "holy one, secluded one", it means you make yourself a holy and secluded one for Jah through a vow.
Nazarite does not mean to live after the vow written in Num6.
I think it is very interesting, that the rules of the vow from Num6 are different from the rules of Samson.
I do not see myself as a Nazarite, but I think this vow is very important. I grow my locks because of other reasons. But it is because of the Nazarite vow why I do not grow my locks on the side of my head. Because the locks are the sign of the Nazarite and one shouldnīt look like something he is not. And on this sign everybody shall see, I am not a Nazarite, meaning I do not follow the vow of Num6. I made my vow with Jah and I didnīt grow the locks on the side from the beginning of the vow on, because I said, I cut my hair now for all the sins against the vow I maybe will do. So I wonīt cut my locks or end may vow when I touch a dead for example, because I cut them already by starting the vow.
But I follow the eating-rules from Num6, I do not eat anything of the vine, I do not drink vine, beer or any other alcohol, I do not eat any meat and so on. Because Jah said, everybody who follow those rules is special for him, and I want to be special for Jah!
