Re: ONENESS
In Response To: ONENESS ()

OK, i agree with your post, the only thing i dont like is the way you say "Rastafari is TRUTH and RIGHT so many nations will try to follow"
Why try? We follow man, as i said before i am white, i would never try to be the leader of a black movement(nor would i try to be leader of a white movement!), but what i embrace as rastafari goes way beyond politics, dont get me wrong i think politics are a very important part of Rastafari, but as someone already said in this forum, anyone(no matter color or creed)whos sensible can relate to oppression, cause its a malignant form of cancer the human community as a whole has been suffering for ages, if i were to list the diferent ethnic groups which have been touched by oppression through history this message would be much longer, but once more i think the best way to end this post is to quote HIM himself, here goes...

"We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations, but to our fellow men within the human community." (Haile Selassie)

P.S: Dont ever forget we all come from the same drop of Blood!!
