Re: Question: Guns and Violence

Haile...

Greetings Iyabinghi Ashanti Zebulun...hailing from a tribe of honour...big up...

"I'n'I have lost close friends in this manner, so sometimes it is a painful thing to visit in discussion"

but I'm sure u know...it is there INI have to start from if INI realy want to know what life is and realy live...a deso reality and life start from...

"I temporarily carried one in JA and for a time here in NY"

weh u sey empress...a carry di matic unda dress fi expose an put to rest...easy...I hear what ur saying though...

well guns is a part of it...because people were fighting each other with fists...does that means we should get rid of our hands....tan deh, if u tink seh hands cyan't do as much damage as bullets...

thus violence comes before the guns

looking at what violence is...its a form/method of getting rid of problems...His Majesty did have to get violent wid di mussolinee bwoy dem...unuh seet...

but before the violence u have problems...so lets look at problems...u have health, finance, employement, rest, recreation...even more simpler than that...we need a system that allows evryones belly to be full...a system that allows time and space for recreation and rest...if these can be available to any individual...with only the requirement that the individual has to work for it...I feel there could be no basis for an understanding of an existence of disrespect...how can u understand disrespect...when evryone is able to be in a position to be respected...be it that their occupation is contributing to humanity and is reaping the fruits like anyone else...thus evryone is a respected being...

because we literaly can see that all can MAKE IT...

if only some can and some can't...then its like not enough food for evryone...and when evryone belly a growl and seeing that there is not enough food to go around there will be war....

but the sensless violence is little more sophisticated than that...the fact that there is a perception in life that tells us that not evryone is included, we automaticaly think that some will be left out...the only thing now is who...so daily as we see new faces, different places we make our judgements...to be a fool is to be left out...to be wise is to be included...no one wants to be associated with an idea of being left out...

and that is how I see the fussin and fighting come about...both parties are just trying to prove the validity in their argument...then both parties are trying to prove that they are not ones to be left out...accusng the other...with name calling...

and then it gets more complicated...coz another form of proving the self validity is competition...its like the world cup...in that whichever teams wins...it is likened to the idea that that country possess the best in evrything...from food to intelligence...yet even more direct is physical combat...and thats how I see the fighting...

But as u can see...like anything else...it starts from a physical existence...from there it turns into principles...wich is educated within culture or a way of life...and is adapted within our way of thinking...as morals...respect...mental aspects...and it is from these mental aspects, when someone calls u a fool...it doesn't mean ur a fool...and u know that...yet still we may try to fight the idea of being a fool...and I guess we do that with the methods we see around us in the world...from reasonings to shoot outs...

I feel just like the other I's that respond...same direction...the system that govern ourselves on this earth...has to change...in order to stop the violence...that is the foundation for ini overstanding...

But when will that happen...and thats the thing, Iyabinghi...the damage has already been done... we have already lost lives, and still loosing...

so yes I feel the vibes and ask the same question u ask...

"So where do we go from here? Where diyouth? Where?."

"There is a land...
Far Far Away...
where there is no night...
there's only day...
Look into the book of life and u will see...
that there is a land,
Far Far Away..."
[SattaMasagahna]

and thats the only comfort INI recieve...coz without a thought like that menchioned above...I realy woulda just seh "fuq it"...tek up the violence and just wyl out...without a care for nothing or nobody...

so yes we have to find and live from the Soul...we have to percieve of and Idea, of an overstanding, of a mind set...that we can turn to and never get weary...without that...u'll die before ur dead...

what do u think...?
