Rastafari Inna Babylon

Greetings in the name of H.I.M. Emperor Haile Sellasie I!!!!

I-man have been wondering, do the I's think the stace of politrickal disinvolvment is beneficial at this time in OUR history?

What I&I mean to say, is that should we be attempting to access infrastructure and seize control of some of Babylon's power so that we may advance Rastafari to the forefront of modernity?

Many bredren I speak to want nothing to do with politics or what they percieve to be manefestations of Babylon. I&I feel, however, that the societal dropout cannot do much to change the society. I&I are involved in environmental justice initiatives and I&I are an environmental scientist(in addition to flashing conscious lyrics pon the microphone to uplift the people!).

SOme might percieve this work as being too entwined with Babylon, however I see it as being in line with Jah works, as I am fowarding a Rastafari mentality in all that I do.

Now some of the I's might think this as problematic, since my work involves some degree of cooperation within the shit-stem, however so does using a computer, driving a car, using electricity, going to university, using a web site, rocking the mic in a bar filled will cigarette smoking drunks in the crowd, etc. So who decides what is a manefestation of Babylon? Is it limited to the human sphere? I tend to think that wicked intentions, may they be from products which required killing indigenous people for, or from the wicked intentions of a Babylon bwoi on an individual level, represent the atrocities of Babylon.

Any reasoning on this subject would be appreciated.
