Yes I sis, give thanks. I'm a bit confused over this statement the I made:
"We, as mothers still have to breast feed our mulattoe babies; but if it wasnt for the love of the Father, it would be easier to reject any bye product of the beast. So as mothers we MUST take up the burden of nurturing what has come from us and hope that loyality to Africa will not create too much upset within these mulattoe children."
Correct, the Afrikan Mother has breastfed all her children, from her Afrikan children ("mixed" and not mixed) to even "massa's" children. We are the Mothers of Creation! We have not rejected any children, be they "love" children, or children out of rape. Such is the nature of Mama-Afrika. My question to the I is why would we "hope that loyalty to Afrika not create too much upset within these mulatto children". It would seem PRIORITY and NATURAL to instill a sense of PRIDE of one's Afrikan ancestry, the most Glorious Peoples on the face of this earth. What creates confusion and upset, is the "tragic mulatto syndrome" of not knowing one's ROOTS. Of striding the fence, so to speak. This is what creates confusion.
As we say, ONE DROP. Black wi black.
The I is right. Perhaps this "lealea" is either a european descendant who is bothered by the fact that some of us who can "pass" have chosen to be LOYAL warriors in honor of their Afrikan ancestry, or perhaps she is of "mixed" heritage, and prefers "striding the fence" or perhaps is a "negro-saxon" who is more comfortable with the idea that ones that could "pass" are "SAVED" and therefore should by all means jump at the opportunity to deny their Afrikanity.
In the end, there are greater issues at hand.
I pray the one called "lealea" can transcend the chains that keep her bound to a western definition of who is and isnt an Afrikan.
Give thanks once again for the I's words.
