I give thanks for the I's words, though I must comment on a few things, raspectfully. Firstly, I reject the european racist term of "mulatto" as it means "mule" in spanish, meaning a mix of horse and donkey. This is just another term suggesting that Afrikans of mixed heritage are as "hybrid" animals. There are too many definitions of Afrikan peoples which somehow correlate to animals. Secondly, ou are ABSOLUTELY correct in your statements of Afrikans of mixed heritage "swinging to suit their needs". Very true. I cannot deny that certain priviledges in this racist society are extended to us lighter skinned Afrikans. The question is whether some of us accept this "red carpet" rolled before us, or whether some of us are CONSCIOUS and LOYAL enough to know that this "red carpet" is but a pool of blood, an earth still soggy with the blood of too many Afrikans. Personally speaking, I do not "swing to suit my needs" as my NEEDS are the liberation of Afrikan Peoples.

We see this in Ancient Egypt with the assimilation of non-Afrikans into our gene pool, and using these off-springs AGAINST their Afrikan families/nations. We see this phenomenon again with the arrival of the Afrikan Holocaust/Slavery when the lighter skinned Afrikan was pit against his/her darker skinned brothahs and sistahs. This is what we refer to as the "Willy Lynch syndrome"...the "house negro" verses the "field negro" thing.

As this western world seems to want to elevate anyone who has european blood running through their veins, though this is really just a COSMETIC "benefit" as ultimately even the lightest of Afrikans was still considered BLACK, and still suffered as an Afrikan in a racist society, though perhaps not as viciously as his/her darker brothas and sistahs. This false illusion has created much DISTRUST among us as an Afrikan Family. We must REAL-EYES how this racist global system has used the system of DIVIDE AND CONQUER among us. The "mulatto" thing is such an example.

Some of us lighter-skinned Afrikans (even those that can "pass" for white) can be some of the fiecest warriors, as Malcom said. I will be the FIRST to say however, that this is most definitely an EXCEPTION TO THE RULE, as many would rather pass, or assimilate themselves into euro-ameriKKKan society.

Here's the point. In the end, it is not about the degrees or lack of melanin, (though melanin is a sacred science in and of itself), but rather whether one has a EUROCENTRIC world-view or an AFRIKAN one.

There are plenty of DARK SKINNED Afrikans who would be the first JUDASES among us. There are some lighter skinned AFrikans who are on the front lines of the Afrikan Liberation Movement.

To those who overstand, no explanation is necessary, to those who wont, none can be given.
