I just want to pick up on two excellent points you make
1:THE EATING OF THE FRUIT CRITTICS IS A PARABLE,WHEREAS IT WAS BEN USED BECAUSE THEY DID NOT WANT TO MENTION SEXUAL DOING IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURE,THEY COULD EASILY SAY EVE VISITED satan,
I think that you make an excellent point because the whole slant of the incident with Eve and the apple is the metaphor for sex, but depending on which legend you read, the sex that occurred was not the lustful act that is implied and inferred by the religious zealots. But worse than that you notice that there is no mention of Adam's folly and what he did, other than "it was the woman what made me do it (words to that effect).
As for the second point re Mary
JUST AS THEY SAY THE ANGEL Of god VISITED MARY ND GIVE HER SOME RUB A DUB FOR HER TO HAVE jesus,NOW SOLOMON LOVE VIRGINS AND HE GOT CURSE BUT god love VIRGINS AND THATS GOOD..Again you make a excellent point, about the hypocrisy which is there shouting out from the pages. Old Testament states -thou shouldn't covet your neighbours(commit adultery), But they would have us accept that Mary was impregnated by the almighty (or the angel) or whosoever and worse still Joseph has to mind the child, and give thanks!! How does that work? If you follow their nonsense he didn't even have a choice!
Well there is many who accept that scenario without a second thought - Fortunately (or unfortunately) I am not one of them.

PS I don't hear anyone yet explain how is H.I.M. did have a mother and father -natural birth from natural procreation-, so why is Jesus different?
