Isn't this an affirmation of what you claim does not exist?
Highest, High > Low, Lowest
Hottest, Hot > Cold, Coldest
Happiest, Happy > Sad, SaddestEven Life and Death have their periods of ascendence and descendence. Maybe a healthy 25 yr old sees life as paramount, but ask that same person, cancer striken and undergoing chemotherapy which is preferable.
