I will go as far as to say "DIS"-education implying its intentional application.
This has ALWAYS been implemented by the esoteric keepers of hidden truths who know FULL WELL the natural/wholistic truths overstood by indigenous cultures.
In order to empower/highlight a certain version of truth, and since truth is omnipresent, you have to do more suppressing of truth than teaching of truth.
We are instinctively aligned with truth from birth. Most of our developmental instruction involves the shaping of our egotistical/personal interpretation of truth as dictated by the controlling regime in place rather than us being instilled with the omnipresence of truth.
I guess what I am saying is that it is important to realize that we are not dealing with "mis"understandings from fools but the implementations placed upon us by masters of deception.
(I hope me interjection is relevant to your speak)
