In Response To: Maroon Is Not A Original Tribe In Mama Africa. (Ras Marcus)
What was done to Tacky and Samuel Sharpe and their people, in Tacky's rebellion and Sam Sharpe's rebellion was Savagery and brute force and ignorance, but what makes it worse, is that the so called Maroons who were supposed to be African people, like Tacky and Sam Sharpe, worked with the slave masters, to continue slave trading activities against their own African people, and so the uprising failed to be successful, and caused several thousands of African people to be killed, for rising up against slavery.
Do the African Union and other African leaders and Elders in the Continent of Africa, think that these so called Maroons should Abandon the name Maroons since it is so stained with betrayal, and take on their original name which is Coromantee, so that the following generation can forgive their ancestors, by taking on their Ancient name and restore the dignity of their Coromantees people? This is just question and any one of you as Africans, can give an answer to this question?
Take the bestcare of yourself and your people.
Maroons No No No.
Coromantees Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE.
Baba Ras Marcus.
