In Response To: Howell Was Among The First Rastafari People (Ras Marcus)
Really, I find that interesting. Howell was just another avergage leader among many ?!?!?
Hmmmm I quess that would explain why rastafarians were singing songs of Howell replacing his name wherevever Jesus name would appear in a song. Yup sounds average to me lol. Just because Rastas CHOOSE not to live up to HOWELL'S standard does not mean his teachings were not the first. If we were to poll the elders, and ask them who the first Rasta was, they would say Howell. Some may be crafty and say selassie I, but it is evident that selassie I had no knowledge of the Rastafarian movement, until he had arrived in jamacia, and spoke with the elders. He even asked when did the movement begin? He was informed that it began the day of his crowning.
As far as your trying to place all rastas in one bottle I find a bit amazing as well. Are you trying to imply that a woman must be naked to attract men? The way we Rasta women dress, our Afrikan bodies is quite evident, even when we are fully clothed. We do not dress like muslim women, nor do we follow the teachings of the ARAB QURAN. So basically I have no idea what you are getting at here....perhaps BAITING?
As far as the other remarks of yours, about sodomites in my family is also called "BAITING", and I'm not intrested in such a juvenile tactic.
Peace & Love
