"It sounds as if you were taught to be a zombie, in my opinion. We are emotional creatures. We have a combination of heart and mind. The union of those two is compassion."
--You can definitely do better than just calling names when you do not agree with someone... Regarding us being emotional creatures, what I have found is that there is no limit to the depravity that we can unleash upon the world when we allow our emotions to rule us. Someone in history said that emotions are a good servant but a bad master. I don't know why I should stop doing the harder work of validating myself based on my intellect than the easier and more destructive work of letting myself be ruled by my emotions.
"So although I intended to risk my life by saving my neighbor, the result was me killing my neighbor. That makes me an evil murderer, right?"
--Although I know you hate or at least dislike when I refer to what I've learned from the Earth Center, because somehow it makes it not my own knowledge when I've learned it from someone else (which I find laughable), I will continue to say that we are taught there that no person is evil really. Set is evil, but even he has priests and priestesses; even he has a place in the existence.
I would say that, intentional or not, it makes you a killer, but not an evil person. I'm not a believer in jails but I do think you would owe something to that neighbor's family even though it was an innocent accident.
