The poem is beautiful.

Perhaps the Iyanting echoed even further to the hills in Afrika where I & I learned to beat the drum; give ises for strength; and learned to live together in fellowship by following the rules of uprightness...

Even the courthouse blues and ones gathering to strengthen those who found themselves victims of the law sounds familiar!
