Precession of equinoxes = approximately 26,000 years.
Frequency of astrological ages = approx. 26,000 years.
Amount of years it takes for earth to enter galactic center/equator = approx. 26,000 years.
When the earth goes through its recent precessions, the celestial, or true north pole moves further away from the magnetic north pole. This would more than likely cause a problem with the magnetic field.
The 26,000 year cycle for the new age, precession of equinox, and time the earth enters galactic center is supposed to end during the vernal equinox/winter soltice of 2012.
That ties into the Mayan predition of December 21, 2012
The age of aquarius is the age of hueman. Many new agers equate the age of aquarius with the introduction of "indigo children" or "starseeds."
This could be the "alien" connection.
