In response to your accusations, I will respond accordingly:
Rasi, we all know on this forum that you have trodded to Afrika. Why do you find the need to remind ones every chance you get?
My post was intended for Sister (i think) Makiala. She mentioned the fulfillment of Garvey's work, which, last I heard/read was regarding repatriation in the context of Black Star Line, and purchasing ships. If this is not correct please enlighten me on what the sister was referncing when she mentioned the purchasing/investing in ships. With that said, I think that my post was relevant to the posters queries.
In a similar vein, we all know that you do not like Obama - yet you mention, it quite often.
We all know that certain posters are not fond of Semites, yet it is a frequent topic of discussion.
The list could go on and on regarding certain individuals chosen topic of discussions.
Since you are not privy to recognizing what amounts to my doing something "every chance that I get," your assertion is quite unfounded IN MY OPINION.
There are some prior posters that have inspired my work and trod. It is possible that my work may inspire others, as I have been inspired. It is no surprise that you have approached me in the manner that you have. However, there are others who do not frequently post here that have received relevant information from myself on strategies for repatriation/relocation/opportunity in Africa. It is my assumption that ones are here to share information on their experiences and perspectives.
IN MY OPINION, you are on this self-righteous tip about you doing more work, or are more down with the struggle, because you now live in Afrika. You constantly mention about ones who have not been able to or have the desire to repatriate, enjoying comfort in the west.
1st question to you Selassielives, what in YOUR OPINION, amounts to CONSTANT? I think that if ones really wanted to speak factually, they could see how many times I referenced being in Africa since I arrived in July. I think the amount may equal 5-8 times. Does this amount of posting equal something that could be perceived as "constantly."
In regards to my speaking of one's enjoying he comforts of the West, well thats my opinion. I think I am free to share that. I will reiterate that if looking into the CONTEXT of the post, you might agree that my statements are relevant - rather you agree w. them or not is on you.
Do you not think that Black people in the west can be a valuable asset to Afrikans on the continent?
I lived in the "west" for 38 years, and I have seen and heard of many people making contributions to Africa from North America, West Indies, Urope, etc. Since I do not know what you mean by "asset," I cannot place value on a term that I am not sure of the context in which it is used.
