In Response To: Race.........Defined. (seshatasefekht)
I've been reading this thread from the start and trying to understand the disconnect between human emotion and nature.
If people are at polar opposite ends of the human sphere, and are attracted to each other, would natural law allow for the attraction (let's not even bring "love" into the equation, for the moment). Since the attraction exists, is it unnatural, is lust not a part of nature's way of increasing populations? How would nature allow for intercourse that produces offspring if it wasn't in accordance with natural law?
Pigs and goats could have intercourse, I guess, but they can't make a baby because nature simply does not allow it. Homosexuals lust for eachother, but nature still says no. Why is it that nature allows for any man and woman to reproduce? And the bi-racial result...what is that? People of mixed racial backgrounds are functioning just fine, why is nature allowing it?
Most of this reasoning seems based on personal feelings of what seems right, but when is nature wrong?
