Did anyone seriously expect him to attend?
Wake up Andrey Thomas et al... good intentions or no good intentions, Barack Obama does not represent the interests of Black people, full stop. He hasn't before, he isn't now, and if you think he's going to that's up to you but I prefer not to set myself up for certain disappointment.
Won't comment on the rest of the thread other than to say people should think about who else is looking at our 'family discussions', i.e. the entire world potentially. Surely it's possible to express disagreement or even anger without sniping at one another so constantly, constantly ad nauseum??? Then again maybe I haven't set a great example in that respect from my days of posting a lot on here... but honestly, it really seems tiresome. But I guess if people feel it's necessary that's their prerogative.
