"There are often questions about what the name "Horns of Moses" means, so here's the answer:
For several centuries, the christian world believed that Moses had horns growing from his head due to a mistranslation of the Vulgate Latin Bible from Hebrew. The text describes Moses as he descended from Mount Sinai, with his face "shining" with beams of light emanating from his head. When the bible was translated the word "qaran" which means "to shine," was mistranslated as "qeren" which means "horns." Before the text was revised, the idea had been engrained into the consciousness of the Christian world. Evidence of this misconception is still with us today in the form of literature and art including famous sculptures by Michaelangelo and Claus Sluter. Look it up.
So what does this mean? It means that you should not take for granted things you have been told or led to believe. Things you know may be untrue. Things you believe may not real. And things you think may be wrong. Don't be afraid to think about things and challenge ideas that do not make sense. Scratch the surface, dig deeper, ask questions, and find the proof. Seek the truth at all costs, wether you will like it or not."------- Horns of Moses
