The Hutu and Tutsi genocide was the result of Belgian and French colonial divide and conquer policies. There may have been tensions between the two groups before the colonialists came on the scene but they weren't mass murdering each other before they both got squeezed into an artificial "country" that was one of the most overpopulated places on earth, after colonial policies had promoted one above the other and created great resentment between them. But that's besides the point anyway. No one ever said genocide had to be white on black. Rosalind was talking about your comments regarding continental Africans and about gay people.
