Blessed love bredren G,
Why get baited into defending the I's Blackness / African ancestry?
I love Rastafari and sight that it is important to be able to reason across InI differences, however I will not reason with someone who openly advocates genocide, and I am honestly a little surprised that his statements around that did not solicit any corrective feedback from Baba, or from the moderators of this forum.
For I, Rastafari must fight injustice especially against African diaspora peoples everywhere. Such fight is out of love for InI people but also for life itself and all of Iration. To advocate genocide (even, maybe especially, of ones enemies) is so flawed, on so many levels, not the least of which the level of humanity. (So, who's really showing their European 'inheritance'?)
It is therefore out of respect for Rastafari that I do not engage with that particular Ras.
Ones may disagree, but I see the most raspectful and rasponsible way to carry InI selves here is to reason with ones and ones who wish to build and grow together through reasoning, on the topics that interest InI. As the I knows, this changes all the time on this board, and if I do not reason with one today, I may choose to reason with that same one on another occasion, on another subject, with another vibe.
Just my two cents, as I sight the I struggling to establish a position in relation to this Ras.
With love and respect,
rosalind
