Rastafari Speaks

Is it possible to accept selassie & dismiss Jesus *LINK*

I quess this question may seem crazy depending on where one's faith is. Today, there are so many versions of Rasta, however I never heard of a Rasta who dismiss Jesus charist. Many believe that selassie I is the return of the Christ.

I for one believed the very same thing, until I saw inconsistancies with the story of Jesus, and what was prophecied by the prophets of the old testament. Infact the prophets of old seem to prophecy more of selassie than jesus.

My faith in Jesus has decreased to non existant. However my faith in Selassie I increased and is very strong, infact even stronger !

Is it safe to think that Selassie I is god in the flesh without giving any credit to Jesus as a fore runner of sorts?

I believe that Selassie I is God in the flesh. However I think that Jesus was either a created story, or not the messiah even if he had lived some time ago.

Is this blasphemy, or okay to reason this way? can INI believe in Selassie I only?
